THE CONDITION - Humanagenosis, a contemporary condition
(Created by Lucy A. Roberts and Barbara Doran)

hu-man-a-gen-osis n [U]: a human condition that occurs due to environmental
denial and a lack of connection with animal instincts.
THE CAUSES - The condition is thought to be predominately psychosomatic and it is suspected that it is bought on by societal stress and ‚unnatural’ living conditions. Common causes can be a the lack of exposure to the natural environment as children and adults, and excessive denial of animal / native / natural instincts.
THE SYMPTOMS - The infected are generally subject to spiratic bouts of animal like behaviour, most commonly similar to apes.
Humanagenosis as an idea has been growing over the past 5 years or so. Based on various observations and discussions with people, I have noted an interesting and concerning development in humans, as a species. It seems that people’s daily existence is so removed from the natural and the inherited natural instincts that it makes (some) people actually believe we are not connected to the animal kingdom or to nature at all.
This piece is trying to address this lack of connection by suggesting that if we continue to deny that we are animals that the animal within will show itself whether we like it or not. I do believe that this does happen in some way and that this lack of connection or even balance between where we have come from and what we have become as a species can contribute to unexplainable illnesses in our societies these days.
