In her interactions with the audience, Lynn manages to blur the line between privacy / the intimate and the public sphere, without exposing herself or the audience too much. By performing certain activities, gestures and with few spoken words, she creates proximity and a sense of intimacy among all those involved, a trustful open situation, in which the shared experience becomes as important as the individual one. The pieces are sensual, performed in a caring way, with a good eye for detail. This approach allows her to also make issues tangible that people may think, or have experienced, but would only rarely speak about.
