is the second piece of an evolving series of videos focusing on the different facetts of cultural performance in people’s everyday lives, at the same time touching on a variety of social, cultural, economic, and political issues in a subtle and aesthetically intriguing manner. Preceding this piece which is set in Maputo (Mozambique), Sergio Cruz created Outside during a residency in Beijing, China. Future videos of this series will focus on New York and Berlin.
