Description
Constellation 2 consists of a projection machine, an archive of 360 degree portraits on 16mm film and found stones. Using a ring-shaped projection machine, a film circles its physical counterpart, a found stone placed in the center of the machine. The film passes through four projectors, which are aligned with the four sides of the stone. There, all the projections are brought together, creating the illusion of a flickering human head slowly turning on the surface of the stone.
